Rosehip oil, Calendula oil, Vitamin E, Helichrysum Essential oil and Neroli Essential oil are all easily absorbed by the skin and are naturally safe to use, with wonderful benefits.
We know that scar tissue is fibrous and dehydrated. Alani’s Scar Soothing Oil formulation allows your skin to be nourished, both on the inside and outside. It also contains antioxidants, providing nourishment and stability to skin damaged by free radicals.
Alani Skin Soothing Oil is ideal to use on stretch marks and scars. It can also be used on skin that is prone to skin damage and is safe to use during pregnancy.
More information about the ingredients:
Rosehip oil – Known for its skin rejuvenating properties. Contains high levels of vitamin A. A dry oil that does not leave an oily residue on the skin.
Calendula oil –
High in oleic acid that makes skin soft and supple.
Encourages the skin to heal and rejuvenate.
Traditionally used for healing deep set wounds, e.g. deep, internal stitches.
Great for dry skin.
Helichrysum Angustifolium flower oil –
Skin regenerating, so this is especially useful for damaged or scarred skin
Anti-inflammatory properties.
Historical information:
Helichrysum comes from the flowers of the Helichrysum plan. In history, Helichrysum was carried by soldiers to use after battle, due to its ability to heal wounds.
Citrus Aurantium oil –
Neroli, or ‘orange blossom’, originates from the white blossom of the Bitter Orange tree.
It has a sweet and floral fragrance, which is gentle to the skin and calming, as well as uplifting to the mind.
Neroli is known for its skin rejuvenating properties and is excellent for dry skin, as well as scar tissue and stretchmarks. Neroli has regenerating properties, excellent for skin renewal.
